Wei Wang is a full professor and the director for the Center of Superconductivity and Renewable Energy in Sichuan University, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, UK, in 2014. He received his M.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering and B.Eng. degree in Civil Engineering, from Southwest Jiaotong University, China, in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He has published 67 peer-review papers in Nature Reviews Electrical Engineering, Physical Review Applied, Applied Physics Letters, Superconductivity, IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity, etc. His research interest including in superconducting vortex dynamics, flux pump, HTS magnet, HTS electrical machines, etc.
